Description
Plex V is manufactured using an exclusive thermal process where all metallurgic transitions, such as austenite and martensite phases, occur at room temperature, offering superior benefits over other NiTi files. These files have controlled memory wire that allows the root canal anatomy to be respected, preventing root weakening and the formation of ledges, transportation, or canal perforations. The CM wire alloy, with special heat treatment, provides very high resistance to torsional and flexion fatigue. Additionally, Plex V can be pre-curved and is extremely efficient in curved canals.
Why Use Plex V?
- Exclusive thermal manufacturing process at room temperature.
- Controlled memory wire maintains root canal integrity.
- High resistance to torsional and flexion fatigue due to CM wire alloy.
- Pre-curved for extreme efficiency in curved canals.
- Shape memory restores the file’s original shape after sterilization.
- Triangular convex section ensures debris removal and active cutting efficiency.
Key Features & Advantages:
- Exclusive Thermal Process:
Metallurgic transitions occur at room temperature, improving performance compared to other NiTi files. - Controlled Memory Wire:
Respects the root canal anatomy, minimizing the risk of root weakening and canal perforations. - High Resistance:
The CM wire alloy, with special heat treatment, offers excellent resistance to flexural fatigue. - Pre-curved Ability:
Allows pre-curving of the file for greater efficiency in curved canals. - Shape Memory:
The file recovers its original shape after sterilization, retaining all metallic properties and structure. - Triangular Convex Section:
Facilitates debris removal while minimizing contact with canal walls, ensuring efficient cutting.
